Rising from the ocean like a futuristic super-aircraft, the long-awaited Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is the final piece of Jumeirah’s maritime trilogy, joining the wave-shaped Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the sail-shaped Jumeirah Burj Al Arab on the city’s most coveted stretch of beach. Despite the property’s size—300 rooms, 86 suites, and 82 serviced residences—a special effort has been made to create a sense of intimacy and exclusivity. The lobby is divided into zones, partially concealed by mashrabiya lattice screens, with a centerpiece featuring an impressive Viennoiserie bakery, created by renowned chef Pierre Hermé, where the rows of exquisite pastries look almost too beautiful to eat. Bab Al Shams, A Rare Finds Desert Resort, Dubai
